Celebrating Nomadism in Rajasthan

MONTROI derives from a village thought to be a part of the ancient Silk Route. MONTROI celebrates nomadism connecting the East and the West, promoting cultural understanding and development; with India being at the very heart. The latest MONTROI collection is inspired by the region of Rajasthan and is a unique interpretation of the nomadic character, central to this creative and authentic region. Vibrant and rich in history, still to this day with its Maharajas and Maharanis, Rajasthan’s strong heritage has attracted nomads throughout history.

With the aim of capturing the essence of the region and its nomad roots, MONTROI collaborated with local artists, photographers and designers, inspiring a series of unique leather goods as well as MONTROI’s distinct Mughal Incense perfume. The new MONTROI Rajasthan City Guide incorporates those hidden locations including places to visit such as Gem Palace in Jaipur with their unique hand-crafted jewelry, as well as the RAAS Boutique Hotel in Jodhpur with it’s spectacular Mehrangarh Fort view.
