A secret island in the Aegean

In Greek mythology, Kéa is said to have been transformed when Apollo and his son Keos brought water and fertility back to the island. Since then, the Meltemi, the northern wind of the Aegean, has shaped its landscape, carrying the scent of wild herbs, the salt of the sea, and the rhythm of island life.

Each summer, the Meltemi returns across the Aegean Sea, a powerful northern wind that has shaped life on the Greek islands for centuries. For those who live across the Cyclades, the arrival of the Meltemi is never announced; it is simply felt. Windows are opened, sailing routes change, the heat softens, and the islands begin to breathe again.

Completely captivated by this story, the Montroi team discovered a landscape defined by contrast. Travelling across the island, discovering its stories, traditions, and natural beauty, they found a place where myth and nature continue to exist side by side.

Inspired by this experience, Meltemi was created exclusively for One&Only Kéa Island. Opening with warm rosewood and nutmeg, unfolding into fresh marine notes, and settling into an earthy base, the fragrance captures the island's identity.
